Friends! To help you know me and what I'm writing about in my blog, I'd like you to meet a few people. They occupy a large chunk of my heart and matter to me. They make up my support system. They make me who I am. To know me as I want you to, read on:
Phillip (Born: 4th October): He’s my guitar teacher. He’s around 37 years old. He’s my ‘Teacher’. He has taught me as much about life as the guitar. He’s my voice of reason and wisdom. He’s a teacher who has made an indelible impression on my mind. He lives in his own world, strumming the guitar to his own tune, and that may not necessarily be on the wavelength of the world. His heart bleeds for the stray dog on the road. He’s a good man.
Andrea (Born: 11th April): Someone I befriended in the sophomore year of college. I share my apartment with her. She is into accounts too. She is a mischievous girl and has a lot of life. She takes life each day, and lives every moment. Andrea can easily tell the difference between love and lust. Her boyfriend, John, is a very sweet guy and takes a lot of things, including some really crap behavior from Andrea. They are seeing each other for some time now and it makes me really happy to see the two of them.
Rio (Born: 6th Nov): He’s my friend for about six months now. I met him randomly on Facebook. He’s the most chivalrous guy I’ve ever met. He knows his manners and helps me with the chair at restaurants. He loves being the knight-in-shining-armor to me. He’s also very well read and loves art, specially movies and music. He’s not at all the funky type and he stands out n a crowd with his silent, brooding personality. That however does not mean he’s boring. He’s got this encyclopedia of one-liners which he delivers with a dead-pan face.
Kurt (Born: 25th August): He’s my co-worker in the accounting firm where I do part-time. He’s a full-timer out there. He’s got a lot of hands-on experience and I have picked up a lot of stuff from him. He’s great to get along with though he is a workaholic. His work is everything to him. His professional life is his personal life. We drag him out of his cube when it’s lunch time. Though a helpful soul, you can get blasted if you keep asking the same thing again and again or come up with inane questions.
