Margaret, 38, a divorced from Hereford was shown how to use the Internet by her teenage daughter. She met Alan, 44, a chemist from New York in a gardening chat room. "He asked me a question about Albertine roses," laughed Margaret. "We chatted quite often after that, mainly about our gardens at first. Then Alan sent some photos of his garden with him in it, and I straight away thought how handsome he was. I sent photos back, half thinking that I wouldn't hear from him again, but the e-mails kept on coming and one day after we'd been corresponding for about nine months Alan got the chance to come to England on business. We met up in London last November and we got on really well together. I'm going to see him in New York in two months time, so who knows what will come of it?"

Lizzie Bell was only sixteen when she started chatting to Mark on the Internet and found that they didn't live far apart from each other in North London. They even knew some of the same people! After chatting every day for about a month Mark suggested that they meet in a cafe one Saturday morning. "We decided to both carry a copy of a certain computer magazine," said Mark, "but I knew she was the one the minute she walked in the door."
"I had already told him what I looked like anyway," said Lizzie, "and I made sure I liked the look of him before I got my magazine out of my bag." Over a year later Lizzie and Mark are still together and planning an engagement on Lizzie's eighteenth birthday.

Things don't always work out quite so well though as Rebecca 42, from Leeds found out. Rebecca joined an Internet dating service. When she first met William he seemed like her ideal man, smart, handsome and sophisticated. At first they had a good time together with trips to the theatre and the races, even a weekend in Paris, until Rebecca began to suspect his motives. William was increasingly "just a little short of cash" until a business deal went through. Eventually Rebecca realized that the deal he was waiting for was marrying her for her not inconsiderable money.
"I later found out this was not the first time he'd tried it either" said a disillusioned Rebecca.

There certainly are precautions you must take to keep yourself safe if you intend to meet people in this way.

CHAT ROOM CHECKLIST

For a start please don't believe everything you're told. He or she may be a company director with a big house and a company car, on the other hand they may be on benefit and up to their eyes in debt. If someone sounds too good to be true - they probably are!

Don't reveal too much about yourself. Use an alias or a nickname, this is quite common practice, and don't reveal too much about your physical whereabouts either, especially if you live alone or in an isolated place. There are con artists who target the lonely and will think their ship has come in if you give out this sort of information.

Be aware that if you put your photograph on the Internet anyone can right click on their mouse and put that picture anywhere that they like in any context. Also consider when looking at photos of others that many people put on photographs that are years out of date when they were slimmer, younger, had hair etc.

Don't even think about giving out your telephone number under any circumstances. Call the other person from a public telephone.

Use your common sense. It's easy in the heat of the moment to give away details about yourself that you would never usually reveal to a stranger.

Take your time and don't be rushed into meeting, especially if you have any doubts at all about someone. On the other hand if you get to know someone and they are strangely coy about meeting up perhaps they are already married, or ten years older or younger than they have told you. Beware of men or women who "love" you within days, they almost definitely have an ulterior motive.

When you do decide to meet, take the same precautions over your personal safety that you would with any stranger. Meet in a public place, tell someone where you are going and with whom, keep your house and car keys with you at all times, be careful about your drink being spiked and take a taxi home so that your date doesn't know your home address.

Love and friendship have blossomed on the Internet for many people who might otherwise never have met, for whom the computer cursor became Cupid's arrow, just be careful and look after yourself.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Scientists study our brain activity and say that it’s quiet possible but everyone is free to believe or not to believe.I found this great analysis here on Love at First Sight

Some people claim that it happened to them and it was like you raise your head, meet those eyes and tell yourself “It is He/She!”. Psychologists say that love at first sight depends on our psychological state at the moment. In some case we won’t even notice those charming eyes in another they can make a lasting impression on as. Also they say that it takes about 30 seconds to fall in love or precisely speaking to estimate whether the person is worth to fall in love with. By the way psychologists claim that men fall in love first.

Very many factors act in the situation of falling in love from the first sight. These are our ideals, intuition or “fast logic”, imagination etc. When you fall in love at the first sight you are usually ready and willing to fall in love. Less possibility that it will happen if you are tired, stressed, solving problems in you mind. Of cause the main part in falling in love is given to the appearance, voice, gestures, smell. One person intuitively searches in the other the qualities and the feature to complete him/herself. Of causes beautiful people attract attention the most, but sometimes it’s wrong to fall in love with them easily because those people are experiencing much attention from the people of the other sex all the time and your delightful reaction may simply have no answers.

Love at Firsy Sight..
A Cute card to Wish Your Love

But if you suddenly fall in love with quiet unknown person and see that it’s mutual that may mean even that mother-nature has chosen a partner that genetically suits you a lot. In this case it is like “aha, match!” when someone happens to fill up all the necessary categories like “tall, blond, blue-eyed, looks good, has a style and nice manners, likes me”.

Still the cases when people really had fallen in love from the first sight and lived long and happily after that are rather it. You may dream of a beautiful stranger that waits for you just around the corner but it’s wrong to name every slight sympathy and interest to a person the love at first sight. Maybe you’re just a little tired of everything that surrounds you or trying to fill the emptiness inside, yet it doesn’t mean everyone who looks nice will do. Sometimes it takes patience and time to find out the true nature of your feelings, mind that wonders do happen but not as often as we would like them too. If you suddenly have felt the wings behind you back still try to keep your feet on the ground because if it’s really love at first sight nothing will happen to it but if you’re taking illusions for reality falling back on the ground can be really hurtful.

A Everlasting Love Come True

By the way some theories say that we fall in love not from the first sight but from the first smell. Scientist claim that we pay much attention to what our eyes and ears tell us but on the subconscious level the way the person smells play a very big part in his or her expression on us although we don’t recognize it.

As always there’re as many opinions as many people. Each one has an equal right to exist because whatever the all those scientifical researches find out love still stays a sphere in which no one quiet sure in anything.

The Best Love Stories of All Time

In the mood for a great love story? Check out Readers Digest picks for the ten best timeless love stories.

Books in which man meets woman, man woos woman (or, woman woos man) and man and woman live happily ever after are a dime a dozen. Enjoyable, for sure, but not what you'd call memorable. So, the editors at Reader's Digest Select Editions have come up with a list of 10 favorite, and timeless, love stories, each of which goes above and beyond basic romance.

1. The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough (1977)
Set in 1915 Australia, this remarkable saga chronicles the forbidden love between a beautiful, headstrong young girl and a priest. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll stay up way too late reading this fabulous story.

2. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë/Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (both 1847)
Really, how can you pick one Brontë over the other? Who is more romantic, Heathcliff or Mr. Rochester? Whose moors are mistier, whose foggy English countryside is more moody, whose manor house is more creepy? It's a tie -- both timeless romances are not to be missed.

3. The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje (1992)
Haunting and beautiful, Ondaatje's award-winning novel tells the story of four war-damaged souls living in an Italian monastery at the end of WWII, and the love story between two of them, the exhausted nurse Hana, and the severely burned unnamed English patient. Unforgettably unique.

4. True Believers by Nicholas Sparks (2005)
The latest 4-hanky love story by the master of sweet, heartwarming romantic tales. This one features a hotshot New York journalist and a plain-speaking Southern librarian, both of whom have been hurt by love before. Their differences are forgotten when love blossoms in this wonderfully escapist romantic read.

5. The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles (1969)
A Victorian gentleman is engaged to a wealthy and suitable woman, but when he encounters a beautiful, mysterious woman rumored to be the forsaken lover of a French lieutenant, he becomes utterly smitten. Truly magnificent entertainment.

6. Chesapeake Blue by Nora Roberts (2002)
Passion abounds in this romance set on Maryland's Eastern Shore, where the rough-hewn Seth Quinn wins over Drusilla, the town's icy beauty. Great characters, great dialogue, fun and steamy scenes. True, Roberts has written a gazillion love stories, but this one is a real standout.

7. The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro (1989)
An aging butler named Stevens, who has performed his job to perfection for more than three decades, reflects on his life. But underneath his controlled exterior lurks a passionate and romantic soul that has been quashed during his years of unblemished service. In the twilight of his life, Stevens learns what love is all about. A fine literary novel.

8. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (1877)
Trapped in a loveless marriage, Anna Karenina succumbs to temptation and embarks on a dangerous affair with the handsome Vronsky. Tragedy unfolds amid the canvas of 19th-century Russia, in the most famous of doomed love stories. A memorable and enduring classic.

9. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (1991)
A powerhouse time-travel romance, this is the first in Gabaldon's hugely successful series. Strong, beautiful Claire Randall leads a double life, married to a man in one century, with a lover in another century. Filled with humor, passion, wit and wonderful Scottish scenery, this is one fast read for a 600-plus page book. Enjoy the wallow!

10. Follow the Stars Home by Luanne Rice (2000)
If you choose the wrong love, can you save your life from ruin? Years ago, thirtysomething Dianne married the wrong man -- the sexy lobster fisherman -- and not his kindly pediatrician brother. Years later, after tragedy strikes, can she reverse her bad fortune? Grab your tissues and find out in this touching weeper.

Whether it's glimpsing 19th-century Russia in Anna Karenina, or witnessing endless family drama on the Australian outback in The Thorn Birds, or imagining time travel in Outlander, each of these fabulous books has something special. "These are much more than love stories; they are life stories," says Select Editions editor-in-chief Laura Kelly. "If you like a good love story, books are so much more satisfying than movies," she continues. "Books take you into the minds of all the characters, where their hopes and dreams will really fire up your own imagination."

"If you love someone you say it,...
you say it right then, out loud,...
or the moment just... passes you by.."
My Best Friend's Wedding

A movie has always been an all-time favourite way to spend the Valentines Day, unless it is two separate movies, for the two celebrating this very special day! This 14th February, one can very easily fire up their love-life,or that very special day, by a high profile contemporary film with that of a classic one. Just see how a movie can say about one's love life..

DOOMED LOVE:

Sometimes the most enchanting love is the one that can never be. Whether it's the yearning look in Francesca Johnson's eyes as Robert Kincaid drives away in the rain at the end of The Bridges of Madison County (1995). Or the self-sacrificing nobility with which an Englishman masquerading as a prince says goodbye to the princess he's come to be in love with in The Prisoner of Zenda (1937 or 1952).

One can even try pairing Titanic (1997) with Roman Holiday (1953). One on this very day, can let the black-and-white beauty of Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn and those breathtaking Rome vistas set the mood, and sail on to Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and James Cameron's stunning evocation of the ship that even God couldn't sink.

FORBIDDEN LOVE

It is said that, the Forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest, especially in movies. For a fun and thought-provoking double feature, start with last year's surprise-hit, Kissing Jessica Stein, in which two women (stars/co-writers Heather Juergensen and Jennifer Westfeldt) hesitantly experiment with a lesbian relationship. It's funny, fast-paced and surprisingly sweet, and not at all prurient.

One can even follow Kissing with Love — Love Field (1992), with Michelle Pfeiffer as a repressed wife in 1963 Texas who, on a cross-country trip to attend John F. Kennedy's funeral, tries to puzzle out her attraction to a black man (Dennis Haysbert) who gives her a lift along the way..

LITERARY LOVE

Sometimes the best love stories are about people who write stories. It's hard to go wrong with Shakespeare in Love (1998), in which the Bard of Avon (Joseph Fiennes) tries to figure out the plot of his new play Romeo and Ethel the Pirate's Daughter while dallying with a lovely, young and completely stage-struck aristocrat's daughter (Gwyneth Paltrow).

A more recent but oddly less modern writer, C.S. Lewis, is the unlikely hero of Shadowlands (1993). Bookish and withdrawn, Lewis (Anthony Hopkins) comes alive, when brassy American poet Joy Gresham (Debra Winger) bulls her way into his life.

Soulmates... Express your innermost feelings with this beautiful ecard.

MAGICAL LOVE

Love is magical, of course, but sometimes magic is love, too. Remember Tom Hanks and a mermaid in Splash (1984) or Christopher Reeve following Jane Seymour into the past in Somewhere in Time (1980)?

Perhaps the best-ever romantic fantasy is Ghost (1990), with a spectral Patrick Swayze clinging to existence out of love for Demi Moore. Both leads are at their best, and Whoopi Goldberg won an Oscar for her hilarious turn as a bogus psychic who starts seeing real dead people.

For a double feature, one also try Steven Spielberg's underrated Always (1989), with Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter as a couple so perfect that one knows they can't last. It's Spielberg's most romantic work by a long shot, and Audrey Hepburn, in her last film, has a charming cameo.

A Bond That's Forever... A beautiful ecard to let your sweetheart/ spouse/ loved one know how much you cherish the bond you share.

MUSICAL LOVE

There'd be no musicals without love songs — think of Gene Kelly dancing outside Debbie Reynolds' window as the skies open in Singin' in the Rain (1952) or Judy Garland singing "The Man That Got Away" in A Star Is Born (1954).

Start with the peerless Top Hat (1935), clever enough to be counted among the classic screwball comedies if it weren't for the distraction of the dazzling Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers dances and Irving Berlin's wonderful score.

Songs by everybody from Jule Styne to Lennon/McCartney and Madonna are heard in Moulin Rouge (2002), and director Baz Luhrmann makes it all work beautifully. Nicole Kidman is a knockout, Ewan McGregor proves to be a wonderful singer and Jim Broadbent bellows ''Like a Virgin'' as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

The Fragrance Of Love... Express your love to your beloved with this beautiful ecard.

ON AND OFFSCREEN LOVE

Does it matter if on-screen lovers connect off-screen as well? Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman never really clicked on the big screen, after all, and Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger never set the world on fire.

But for a life-imitates-art double feature, one can try Adam's Rib (1949) and To Have and Have Not (1944). In the former, longtime companions Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn do their patented comedy/drama blend, with a nice turn from Judy Holliday as the aggrieved wife whose case pits defense attorney Hepburn against prosecutor Tracy. In the latter Humphrey Bogart meets Lauren Bacall, and even after 60 years you can still see the sparks. It's not much like the Hemingway novel, but it's a classic.

Love Shines Forever ! Tell your darling how deep your love is for him/ her with this card.

TEEN LOVE

The most iconic love story of them all, Romeo and Juliet, is the definitive teen romance.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999), however, draws on a different Shakespearian source. This clever reworking of The Taming of the Shrew features career-making performances from Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger in the lead roles, but the supporting cast — especially Alison Janney, Larry Miller and Larisa Oleynik — is equally good.

The little-known Dogfight (1991) makes a soberer matchup, with River Phoenix at a career peak as a young soldier who meets a gawky folk-music fan (Lili Taylor) in Vietnam-era San Francisco. He comes to mock her but stays to know her, and ultimately it's one of the most achingly believable films ever made.

A Tender Touch... A warm e-wish to win the heart of your love.

TIMELESS LOVE

Some say that young love is the only love? But one can easily come out of this thought, if one checks out Laurence Olivier and Katharine Hepburn in Love Among the Ruins (1975) — the age gap between the two, is a bit too much, but they still make this tale of an aging actress and the barrister.

One can also add How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998), in which a 40-something executive (Angela Bassett) and a 20-something Caribbean stud (Taye Diggs) prove once and for all that age is only a number.

Sweet Memories... Pledge your love to him/ her with this lovely ecard.

LOVE FROM MILES AWAY....

"Distance can be such a terrible thing, Bringing confusion and despair
When I think of you all the time, Wishing that I was there.
Wishing I could look into your eyes, Look into your face and see you smile.
Wishing I could feel your touch, Wishing I could hold you so much.
Your flesh beneath my fingers, slowly setting off those little tingles.
Wishing I could kiss away, even a mile of the distance.
I would spend all night, so you would remember
The feel of our love, it was always so slow and tender.
But at this time, Distance keeps us apart
But it will never erase, Your love from my heart.
So I close my eyes, and atlas
Your there, Touching me, Everywhere.."

Isn't it wonderful to be in love, to fall in love, to be consumed by love? I remember the childhood fairy tales & bed time stories filled with love, living happily ever after, always in a state of love & bliss...I've often thought that I would give anything for love, but now I wonder if I had been too generous in the past. After all, not all love lasts forever. So, is the quality of love or a relationship directly related to the length of time the relationship lasts; or is it the quality of the love & connection felt, even if it only lasts for fleeting moments, never to be recreated again? Would you consider a long distance relationship if you thought you found someone you would like to experience love & passion with? Would you move across town, across a state or even across a country? Or would you prefer they relocate to be with you? I must admit that I have had a few such relationships and not all of them turned out well. But through those experiences I have found that there are keys to keeping the romance alive, if both parties are willing and determined to make it work. Keep in mind that the length of time you had to get to know the person before you were separated will have a lot to do with how successful your long-distance romance will be.

Define Your Relationship

One of the first things you should do with your long-distance sweetheart is to agree on what the relationship will be going forward: Are you going to be just friends? Intimately connected when it's convenient? Or does this have the makings of a real and solid love affair? Determining limits is of the utmost importance, because as things get difficult, it will help ground the two of you if you know the boundaries of your relationship. It will also help avoid heartache later because you will both know where you stand.

Missing You More Than Ever ! A warm message for your sweetheart/ spouse/ loved one to show how much you are missing her.

Be Honest

This is very important, and I don't just mean disclosing the superficial things (like where he was when you called and he didn't answer). You must be willing to discuss more sensitive issues, too, like your sex life. If this relationship is to really hold its ground, talking openly and honestly about your sexual needs is one of the biggest keys to success. Generally speaking, communicating openly with your partner about your sex life will allow you to find out if the other person is truly committed to you physically as well as personally. It is not an easy subject to broach, but it can be very revealing in terms of how much the two of you are willing to disclose for the sake of your love. (The only exception I would make to this regards the military: When you or your love is overseas, or fighting in a war, this kind of honesty may be way too much to handle and would be best left to discuss at a more opportune time. Encouragement would be the order of the day until you or he returns home.

Missing You Day And Night ! A warm ecard to let your sweetheart know how lonesome you are without her everyday.

Exercise Patience

Boy, is this one tough! I personally am not a patient woman, and one of the pitfalls for me in long-distance relationships has been the waiting. I recommend that you find things to do here at home to occupy your time. If your career or your children do not keep you busy enough, get involved in some volunteer work or maybe go back to school. The key is to avoid weighing down your long-distance conversations with whining or unrealistic demands, solely because you are bored or missing the other person.

I Miss You ! A cute 'Miss You' ecard for your husband/ sweetheart/ loved one.

Send this eCard !

Give Encouragement

This one is so important. I am presently in a long-distance relationship. I enjoy every moment. Make it a habit to always ask how things are going — with school, work or family — and then proceed to encourage him in those areas where he is especially talented. For instance, he spent some time playing basketball and talking to his son the other day and I was so proud of him because, as a single parent, he is determined to keep the lines of communication open with his teenager. I let him know that and he appreciates it. He also helps me. I am currently trying to prepare for an algebra exam — I am horrible at math — and he is very good at it, so it makes him feel good to be able to assist me. We just do the problems over the phone. Encouragement, assistance and praise work well over email, too. It's also a good idea to "smile over the phone" as much as possible. A good mood from you on days when your partner may be feeling especially needy can make both of you feel better. If you follow this advice, you will be on the road to making your long-distance relationship last. Even better, it may end someday with the two of you finally in the same place, having learned so much more about each other simply because you had to put in a bit more effort.

A Heartfelt Message... A beautiful way to let your spouse/ sweetheart/ loved one know how much he's missed.

Friendship often ends in love; but love, in friendship, never! Friends were sent for times when God knew He couldn't make it in an emergency. Love is divine and ethereal... It is such that we cannot reach it, but friends bridge the gap between us and true love...

Friends are special,
friends are rare.
Friends bring light,
when life's not fair.
They hold us through hard times,
when time passes us by;
morning to night,
starry or sunlight,
they color life vibgyor,
when shabby seems the sway...

Friends hold a special place in our hearts. Holding each other through pleasure and pain and motivating when one's morale is down; sometimes the involvement becomes so much that one forgets the difference between friendship and love. Love comes naturally between friends but its platonic nature maybe relative.

Love is giving unconditionally and as a child, one's heart knows no preconditions. Childhood romances are sweet and full of cherished memories. As children, all of us fall in fall with the first instance of a slight crush more under peer pressure than anything else. The end result is very different though. Life at that point is rosy and the love that blossoms voluntarily also dies soon if unattended. We all had a childhood sweetheart though few really have any memories when they grow old. They say out of sight, out of mind but contradictorily also, distance makes the heart fonder... Some memories survive, while some succumb to the inconsistent time gaps. Tender, docile, easily susceptible to any form of danger, love at this stage is carefree and as if by default; unlike love at a later stage when the heart has a better understanding of times. Childhood romances are detached, without any strings attached and most importantly the existing friendship never gets tarnished in case of an affair, if at all
While at school and while attending the final years there, crushes are a daily affair with most of us. Any kind of affection was taken as an act of love by the one receiving it. Love was in the air at all times and it was almost mandatory for all to have crushes! Those were childish thoughts but somewhere some friends did fall in love. Love at first sight, with a classmate or a college mate and dreaming into the wee hours of the morning.
Love matures and blossoms like a tender bud or a frail, fragile, cherub... With an understanding of the world and its complexities, we learn to appreciate the good, the bad and the ugly in life! These are testing times and we learn to differentiate between a mother's love and love for someone we just met. All romantic notions of love seem to shatter and life seems a dirty and messy affair. Heartbreaks and betrayals and so much of hatred. In the midst of all this, that one shoulder you cried upon becomes your life's support system.

That friend just moves a step ahead and touches your heart before you even know it. The one you shared your love problems with suddenly seems indispensable and that too not in the platonic or friendly sense! Now the senses are back when unasked, unattended, a feeling takes full control of your heart and soul. Life seems fair and right all over again. Beautiful is the day and aims in life are visible and light shows the way. Memories of school buddies and college mates are the most beautiful and often the most painful too. Real and heartfelt affection once whose feeling lasts a lifetime...

Friendship is often circumstantial. For example, with a neighbor, a colleague at the workplace, chance meeting some place or personal conditions like widowhood, divorce or old age. Sometimes friends are a godsend. When we need them the most they come and hold our world together and prevent it from falling apart. Friendship and love go hand in hand. Love cannot stand alone, our better half is the one who understands us best. Also, love brings two lonely and lost souls together and it brings untold joys and happiness unheard of before. Love is divine, in any form.

Often there comes someone in our life who touches our heart in a very special way. Someone whose presence fills your days with happiness. Speak your heart out to that 'special someone' who is more than a Friend in your life with these warm, cute and well-animated ecards.

How to Win Your Sweetheart with a Love Song

loving somebody is the most beautiful experience in this universe. But being in love often challenge a person when he or she is shy to express the innermost emotions. Its not about showing your affection and weakness towards someone but it is all about showing the trust that you share and that helps to enrich the relation. Because it is the way ensure how much one is loved.

Music is the rarest form of art which tender your nerves and relaxes you in a way that your sense and sensibility up springs and follow the vibes of your heart.

“When you say nothing at all...” yes, she needs you and her quest for true love ends with you. These true thoughts are not to be passed on just like fleeting moments, these fragile emotions truly brings the greatest joy in your soul when you triumph with a unforgettable smile on her face. The most appealing factor for this song is the melodious tone and the lingering effect of it. If she once hears it she will not forget and the joy will be twice when you will present it in a way that your actions will broadcast like a video whenever she will close her eyes. Ronan Keating's this musical note is one of the most lovely songs of love and is a all time favorite of all the lovers in the world.

“Everything I do I do it for you...” these words do not come so easily. You might love somebody as much as no one did ever before but those holy words to express the complete dedication are not easy to utter. The prophet has said "I never knew how to worship until I knew how to love." In front of this soulless devotion everything under the sun becomes futile. It is not about loving someone but about loving yourself because you cannot live without his or her love. Letting your beloved know about your truest feelings is best possible through a favorite love note like this.

“Nothing gonna change my love for you...” love and life are almost synonymous for those who are truly in love. Some immortal love songs are reflections, which remind you that the feelings are indebted in them are just the same as the feelings you share. These immortal notes are really blessed by the greatest power of creativity and dedication. These songs are life time favorites and can only be created once and will leave a lingering effect for ever. Glenn Medeiros sang this everlasting song around1987 and from then it is a all time hit till date.

“As long as you love me...” when you love someone it hardly matters what is his or her name, address, or any previous details about the person. Love is blind and sometimes deaf too. So falling in love is the most important thing. Not inquiring the background. Because love is such an ocean where as much as one sinks the layers and levels of newness and romance are evolved again and again. After forty years staying together one may find the rarest thing which one might recognize for the first time and at the same time that discovery may bring the unearthly, extremely beautiful feeling. So go ahead and watch these amazing Love Song Videos.. and dont forget to convey your Love to you Loved ones

It must have been love : Roxxette

"It Must Have Been Love" (IMHBL) is a pop song written by Per Gessle. It is the Swedish pop duo Roxettes's most commercially successful single and its best-charting and selling release in the United States. It rivals "The Look" as the song most closely associated with the Swedish duo.

Though not originally part of any Roxette album, that "It Must Have Been Love" was released as a single in 1990 from the soundtrack to the hugely popular film Pretty Woman ensured its success. Also, it was a close follow-up to the group's single "Dangerous," which spent two weeks at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February of that same year.

Everything I Do - Bryan Adams

"Everything I Do I Do It for You" is a song co-written and performed by Bryan Adams, featured on Waking up the Neighbours and on the soundtrack for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves in 1991.
It was an enormous chart success internationally, spending seven weeks at number one in the United States' Billboard Hot 100, sixteen consecutive weeks at number one in the UK singles chart (the longest in British chart history), and a staggering 39 weeks in Canada.
The song won a Grammy Award Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television in the Grammy Awards of 1992, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song . Subsequently, the song has been covered by countless singers around the world.

Nothings Gonna Change My Love For You - Glenn Medeiros

"Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" is a popular song by Gerry Goffin and Michael Masser.
Originally recorded by George Benson for his 1984 album 20/20 it achieved worldwide success in a cover version by Hawaian singer Glenn Medeiros in 1988.
Medeiros had originally released this on a small independent label when aged 16 after winning a local radio talent contest in Hawaii. A visiting radio executive from KZZP in Phoenix, Arizona heard the song and took the record back to Phoenix, where through word of mouth became a national hit. A massive worldwide hit it reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 4 weeks at number one on the UK singles chart in July 1988.

My Best friends's Wedding

Do You ever put your arms out and just spin and sopin? .Well thats what Love is like . Everything inside of you tells you to stop before you fall, but you just keep going
Practical magic

Dont forget .I am just a girl standing in the front of a boy asking him to love her
Nothing Hill

I hate the way you talk to me and the way you cut your hair . I hate they way you drive my car . I hate it when you you stare , I hate yout big dumb combat boots and the way you read my mind . I hate you so much that that it makes me sick,it even makes me rhyme . I hate it , I hate the way your always right . I hate it one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing . but I also guarantee that I i dont ask you to be mine ,I will regret it for the rest of my life ,because I know in my heart ,you're the only one for me
Runaway Bride

When You fall in Love ,its temporary madness . It errupts like an earthquake and then it subsides . And when it subsides you have to make a decesion . You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part . Because this is what love is . Love is not breathlessness it is not excitement ,It is not the desire to mate every second day . Love is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. No.. dont blush . I am telling you some truths . For that is just being in love which nay of us can convince ourselves we are . Logve itself is what is left over ,when being in love has burned away.

Nothing is More Romantic than snuggling by your bedside and Reading a Romantic Book ,all the more when you are in Love .. Read on to know more about the Top Romantic books that you could read on Valentines Day

Like Water For Chocolate By Laura Esquivel

Who's he? Pedro, a young Mexican boy Who's she? Tita, a young Mexican girl who loves to cook
What is it all about? There's passion, there's anger, there's frustration.
And, in between all these, we warn you, you may develop a voracious appetite!
You see, every chapter of this lovely tale of young love unfolds with a recipe, because the novel's 15-year old heroine, Tita, loves to cook.
Tita lives with her two older sisters Rosaura, Gertrudis and their fastidious mother, Elena.
Tita falls in love with Pedro, a young man who asks Mama Elena for Tita's hand in marriage.
But, alas, by virtue of her being the youngest, she cannot marry. She must resign herself to a life spent in service to her widowed mother, who suggests that Pedro should marry 17-year old Rosaura instead! Will Tita and Pedro be united in love?
Sigh! Read the novel -- it will satiate your romantic appetite rather well!

Gone With The Wind By Margaret Mitchell

Who's he? Rhett Butler, dashing, wealthy, a man who doesn't mince words. Who's she? Scarlet O'Hara, dimple-cheeked, southern belle of the ball.
What is it all about?Margaret Mitchell's epic of love is so irresistible, you will have trouble tearing yourself away from it, in between reads.
This novel is an all-time great.
We warn you, though. You will get so attached to the lives of the characters, it will take a few days to detach post the novel. When 16-year-old Scarlet, unleashes her charm and flashes her dazzling smile, any man will dance to her tunes. The bold and unscrupulous, Scarlet hatches a scheme to steal Ashley, the object of her affections from another woman.
Then she bumps into the worldly-wise Rhett Butler and in him meets her match, for Rhett is the only man who see through Scarlet's façade of sweetness. Read about the escapades of two individuals who can't decide whether it's true love or hate!

Bridget Jones's Diary By Helen Fielding

Who's He? Mark Darcy, reticent ace lawyer who wears funny sweaters.Who's she? Bridget Jones, emotionally warped, yet honest and affectionate.
What is it all about?
This one is the funniest love story ever about the single, 30-something Bridget, who thinks she will attain nirvana by losing weight, quitting cigarettes and getting into a sensible relationship.
The story unfolds through the eyes of Bridget, who keeps a diary. Hence the title of the book.
Life takes an ugly turn post her affair with her promiscuous boss, the irresistible Daniel Cleaver. She switches jobs and meets the rather stuffy Mark Darcy.
Could he turn out to be her Mr Right?

The Time Traveler's Wife By Audrey Niffenegger

Who's he? Henry DeTamble, a librarian from Chicago.Who's she?Clare Abshire, an artist and Henry's wife.
What is it all about?
This part romance-part science fiction novel tells the story of Henry, who is struck by a 'chrono displacement' disease. It is a rather inventive ailment because it allows him to travel through time. Exciting, right?
But what happens when 40-year old Henry bumps into a six-year old Clare?
Funny events unfold as Henry dilly-dallies between the past and the future, unsure whether he will meet the 10-year old Clare or an octogenarian!
Henry and Clare's love story must survive the confusion thrust upon them by this unusual lifestyle. This one is a truly amusing read!

The Bridges Of Madison County By Robert James Waller

Who's he? Robert Kincaid, a renowned photographer.Who's she?Francesca Johnson, a neglected farm wife. What is it all about?
When Robert Kincaid, a photographer for National Geographic, sets foot in Madison County, it is the last place he expects to find romance. But wonders never cease.
He meets Francesca, whose children have grown up and whose hubby never seems to have the time for her. It is instant attraction for her and Robert. And she has a second chance with true love. Will Francesca elope with her new love or be responsible and bid him adios forever?

Love Story By Erich Segal

Who's he? Oliver Barrett IV, son of a wealthy, stuffy family, studying for his Harvard degree.Who's she?Jenny Cavilleri, student of music at Radcliffe, from a working-class background. What is it all about?
Love Story epitomised the concept of opposites attract, because Oliver and Jenny have absolutely nothing in common.
It also immortalised the line, "Love means never having to say you're sorry."
It is not all mush, though. The repartees being hurled between the two lovers are hilarious and keep you in splits. The two characters are very endearing and stay with you long after you have read the book. And if you like this one, you must also read the sequel, Oliver's Story.

Message In A Bottle !

What makes us fall in Love ? Is it Physical characteristics or does it have to do more with mental stimulation .We all have a template for the ideal partner buried somewhere in our subconscious. It is this love map that decides which person in that crowded room catches our eye. But how is this template formed?

Appearance

Many researchers have speculated that we tend to go for members of the opposite sex who remind us of our parents. Some have even found that we tend to be attracted to those who remind us of ourselves. In fact, cognitive psychologist David Perrett, at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, did an experiment in which he morphed a digitized photo of the subject's own face into a face of the opposite sex. Then, he had the subject select from a series of photos which one he or she found most attractive. According to Dr. Perrett, his subjects always preferred the morphed version of their own face (and they didn't recognize it as their own).

Personality

Like appearance, we tend to form preferences for those who remind us of our parents (or others close to us through childhood) because of their personality, sense of humor, likes and dislikes, etc.

Pheromones

The debated topic of human pheromones still carries some weight in the field of love research. The word "pheromone" comes from the Greek words pherein and hormone, meaning "excitement carrier".

In the animal world, pheromones are individual scent "prints" found in urine or sweat that dictate sexual behavior and attract the opposite sex. They help animals identify each other and choose a mate with an immune system different enough from their own to ensure healthy offspring. They have a special organ in their noses called the vomeronasal organ (VNO) that detects this odorless chemical.

The existence of human pheromones was discovered in 1986 by scientists at the Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia and its counterpart in France. They found these chemicals in human sweat. A human VNO has also been found in some, but not all, people. Even if the VNO isn't present in all of us -- and may not be working in those who do have it -- there is still evidence that smell is an important aspect of love (note the booming perfume industry). An experiment was conducted where a group of females smelled the unwashed tee shirts of a group of sweaty males, and each had to select the one to whom she was most "attracted." Just like in the animal world, the majority of the females chose a shirt from the male whose immune system was the most different from their own.

Staring Into Each Other's Eyes

Professor Arthur Aron, of the State University of New York at Stonybrook, has studied what happens when people fall in love and has found that simply staring into each other's eyes has tremendous impact.
In an experiment he conducted, Professor Aron put strangers of the opposite sex together for 90 minutes and had them discuss intimate details about themselves. He then had them stare into each other's eyes for four minutes without talking. The results? Many of the subjects felt a deep attraction for their partner after the experiment, and two even ended up getting married six months later.

Money can't buy you love. But how about a ticket to a romantic movie?

Escaping our lives for two hours to become part of someone else's is a large part of the attraction we feel toward film. Romance movies in particular draw us in. We are ever enticed by the pitfalls — and joys — that love, albeit fictional, brings to some of the most recognizable faces of Hollywood. And with top films such as "Gone With the Wind" and "Titanic" (jointly raking in more than $800 million, the numbers speak for themselves.

Since the Greeks first invented drama, audiences have enjoyed a good love story. We empathize, occasionally weep and sometimes even get good advice for our own love lives. But even if plays or novels are more beautifully written than movies, the experience of seeing a film is more visceral. The impact of seeing men and women fall in, or out of, love onscreen is as close as we can get to the real thing.

The most precious possession that ever comes to a man in this world is a woman's heart.
~ by Josiah G. Holland ~

What we need to know about loving is no great mystery. We all know what constitutes loving behavior; we need but act upon it, not continually question it. Over-analysis often confuses the issue and in the end brings us no closer to insight. We sometimes become too busy classifying, separating, and examining, to remember that love is easy. It's we who make it complicated.
~ by Leo Buscaglia ~

Romantic love reaches out in little ways, showing attention and admiration. Romantic love remembers what pleases a woman, what excites her, and what surprises her. Its actions whisper: you are the most special person in my life.
~ by Charles Stanley ( A Man's Touch) ~

From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven. And when two souls that are destined to be together find each other, their streams of light flow together, and a single brighter light goes forth from their united being.
~ by Unknown ~

It is the things in common
that make relationships enjoyable,
but it is the little differences
that make them interesting.
~ by Todd Ruthman ~

Love is always open arms. If you close your arms about love you will find that you are left holding only yourself.
~ by Leo Buscaglia ~

My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We'll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.
~ by Frederick Saunders ~

The heart is the place where we live our passions. It is frail and easily broken, but wonderfully resilient. There is no point in trying to deceive the heart. It depends upon our honesty for its survival.
~ by Leo Buscaglia (Born For Love) ~

There is only one happiness in life: to love and be loved.
~ by George Sand ~

Love is an act of endless forgiveness
A tender look which becomes a habit.

Love Movies have always have had a loyal following among both young and Old . Here are some of the Love Movies which incidently says a lot about the Kind of Love . Read on and think about what Kind of Love you would like to have.

"If you love someone you say it,...you say it right then, out loud,...or the moment just... passes you by.."My Best Friend's Wedding

One on this very day, can let the black-and-white beauty of Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, and those breathtaking Rome vistas set the mood, and sail on to Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and James Cameron's stunning evocation of the ship that even God couldn't sink.

Forbidden Love:

On Screen Love Vs Off Screen Love

Now that we heard what Kids had to say about Love. Lets hear what grown up feel about Love ..

1.) love is something that should allow both parties to be equally thoughtful of one another, not taking each other for granted, doing things for one another - not because you have to - but because you want to.

2.)Love is not being too upset when he leaves the seat up on the toilet or him being understanding when she insists she needs that 4th pair of black pumps. It is being able to see one another's faults and loving them anyway. It is not ever wanting them to hurt and striving to be the best person you can be, and truly being sorry if by accident you fall short of that. It is "completing" one another - but not in an unhealthy sense. It is something that never dies.

3.)Love is knowing that there is only person who holds the "key" to your heart. Knowing that you will be spending the rest of your life with them just makes you feel really good inside. Love is not being able to stop thinking about this person, not being able to stay separated for too long.

4.)Love is not knowing what to say, but you know that you don't have to say anything at all. Love is not only told through one word to someone that you really love. Actions represent how we feel, so if you truly love someone let them know today, waiting for tomorrow may be too late.

5.) In love is the "gut feel" for someone where you have butterflies, etc. You are just happy to be in the same room with them. Loving someone is caring about thir well-being. Wanting to help. Being caring. But you can do it from 1000 miles as easily as right there.

6.)I think it's possible to have long lasting love and also be "in love." Maybe not all the time head over heels being in love, but if two people consciously light each other's sparks, long lasting love and lust can remain exciting and new. It has to be worked on, though, from both sides. I have to admit I still go "ooh and ahh" over my husband's eyes, or his smile, or that tight butt of his even after nine years and many of those having been really tough and being nearly divorced.

7.)Love is saying I'm sorry. Love is a precious thing - both in giving and receiving. Love is unconditional. Love is being there and giving space accordingly. Love is forgiving. Love is trust. Love is a gift from God. Love is everlasting.

8.) Love is what you put into the marriage, not what you get back from it or think you deserve. Love grows deeper over the years and this person is supposed to be your best friend you can confide in and share with. The one that fights occasionally with you for principles and then tells you they are sorry for their part in the arguing. Love forgives one another, not
cheats on one another.

9.) love means caring enough about someone that you want to put their interests and welfare ahead of your own.

10.)Maybe love is really about growth and we need to crash into a few walls until we find the door to walk through.

When a group of professionals posed the question, "What does love mean?" to a group of children between the ages of 4 and 8, they got answers that were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See for yourself how These Kids interpreted Love in all its innocence. Maybe Grown ups could learn the true meaning of Love from these Kids

"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth."

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."

"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings."

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him to make sure the taste is OK."

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss."

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."

"Love is hugging. Love is kissing. Love is saying no."

"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared they won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do they still love you, they love you even more."

"There are two kinds of love: Our love and God's love. But God makes both kinds of them."

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

"Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken."
